Stimulus Bill

The National Council of Nonprofits provided some great resources to understand how the stimulus could help your Café weather this moment:

Here is an article from Forbes Magazine explaining how to apply for the SBA loan/grants that are part of the CARES Act.

Disaster Relief Loans are administered directly with the SBAhttps://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/

Paycheck Protection Loans – These WILL be administered through participating banks. We don’t have all the details yet as the SBA has 15 days from the legislation being signed (March 27, 2020) to come up with guidance to send to participating banks.  We recommend you check with your bank for more details.

Employer Toolkit

UST has assembled the Top COVID-19 Resources to help nonprofit employers navigate the Coronavirus’s impact on organizations and their employees.

Database and an Interactive Map

Duke University’s CASE Center has put together a database of resources for small businesses and nonprofits by various state and/or region. Take a look!

National Center for Family Philanthropy is providing access to an interactive map where COVID-19 related funding sources are identified by pins on map, searchable by location and name, and link to more information about how to apply.

Technology Support

501 Commons and Tech Impact have teamed up to launch a brand new website dedicated to helping organizations adapt their work practices in this unforeseen emergency.

Additionally, the Washington Nonprofit Institute has made available some of their most recent webinars related to COVID-19 including alternatives to meeting in person and what to do if you have to cancel your fundraising event.
