Kim Montroll
Kim Montroll serves as the Recovery Café Network’s Catalyst at Large. She works with individuals and organizations who are exploring bringing a Recovery Café to their local community. Kim lives in the Washington, DC, area where, for the past 25-plus years, she has worked in the web of healing and justice organizations growing from the ecumenical Church of the Saviour. She has had the privilege of learning from and walking alongside grassroots community leaders responding to profound need in DC and in rural Haiti where she has also lived and worked; she speaks intermediate level Haitian Creole. Kim serves on Recovery Café DC’s founding Board. She loves to walk and run (and points out that she is not setting any land speed records) and spend time connecting through stories that bring both tears and belly laughs.
